Baby Asa in 3D

Our first real look at Baby Asa, and I have to say, I think he's the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
So far we've learned quite a few things about our little guy.
He loves- to have his hands in his face, to kick mommy when she's trying to sleep, and give the doctors and nurses a hard time when it comes to getting a good heartbeat.
He dislikes- Heart monitors, being poked and prodded, and having his picture taken.
We can't wait to meet him and I'm so ready to hold him.

Baby Boo update!!! He's a cutie

Well, I wish I could say I remember everything they told me today at the appointment, but that would be a big fat lie. I was to excited thinking about our little baby BOY to listen to all the facts they kept throwing at us. I do know our little bundle of joy is for sure a boy (and shy is not his middle name), his heartbeat was 154 bpm, and he is measuring two days ahead of what they expect, but they are going to leave my due date at October 26th. We got to see lots of pictures of him, and everything is developing well. I really wish I was a millionaire so I could have an ultrasound machine in my home... but sadly that cannot be, so instead I will stare at the pictures I have for hours. Chad is very very excited and can't wait to tell everyone he knows, I'm pretty sure he started texting people before I got out of the bathroom. But it makes me happy to know he's so happy. Well here it comes the big moment... the pictures

This is Baby Boo at 18 weeks and 1 day.

And this is the first thing we saw when they turned on the big screen. Yeah that's a boy.

BIG NEWS

I finally found a little time and energy to get on here and post. Big news for the Waite family!!! We are expecting our first baby in October. I couldn't be more excited. Chad still looks like a dear in the headlights and refuses to change a diaper. He will NOT win that battle. ;) Our first ultrasound showed only one (I'm happy) and the heartbeat was 180. Our next appt is next Thursday. We can't wait. Here are the pictures of the first ultrasound. >>>>><<<<<

We chose to hold off on posting until we went to yesterdays appointment. Baby Boo's heartbeat was 152. Baby is pretty shy, he/she doesn't want anyone to bother his/her nap and tried hiding from the doctor. It was a pretty nervous couple minutes for me. We set up our next Ultrasound for the end of May. I'm so excited to find out if Baby Boo is a boy or a girl. I'm counting down the days. Chad wants a boy, and I'm hoping for a girl, but I'm pretty sure Chad is right. I guess if that's the case, I'll just have to suck it up, put the pink dresses out of mind, pack up the baby dolls and barbies, and stock up on GI Joes and recipes for mud pies.

Just a little update. Trigger is doing fine. He had 5 teeth taken out. Chad thinks we need to rename him though. He says with all those teeth missing, he needs a redneck name. We're thinking Jim-bob. Any thoughts?

Our poor puppy

Well to say the least, the last week has been crazy. We came home from our Spring vacation (to Disneyland, no surprise there ;)...) and noticed that our "big" doggy wasn't eating very well. By Wednesday he wasn't really eating at all and his muzzle was looking a bit swollen. I finally got him into the vet today and he's becoming quite an expensive part of this family. So here's the rundown... He's missing a couple of teeth and needs a couple more taken out. He's got some bleeding into his eye. Pretty much what the vet says is he received some trauma to the head... So our baby is going in on Monday to have surgery. I guess we'll see how he does.
On a funnier note, our vets office has tinted windows all along the front of the office, and when we were walking by them, Trigger noticed his reflection in the window. He growled and lunged at the window, but when he saw the "other dog" lunging at him, he yelped and ran the other way. He's so cute...

My new hair!!!

A bit crazy I must admit, but I just couldn't pass up the chance. I have been growing my hair out for two years now in order to cut it all off and donate it to locks of love. Well the school did a locks of love day and come to find out my hair was finally long enough to do it. So I cut it all off and I figured while I still had the guts to do it, I went for a big change and dyed my hair too. I'm still not so sure about the color, but I'm not changing it anytime soon. Sorry about the bad picture quality, I've misplaced the camera, so I used the phone and uploaded them to the computer. So here they are.

Oh and sorry about the mess in the second picture. I've been cleaning out our closet and I have bags of clothes to go to salvation army. Maybe I'll get that done sometime next week.

the two worst snacks on the entire planet! Other than twinkies, which are number one "yucko" in my book

Today at snack we had cheetos. I think they are one of the most disgusting foods in the entire world, but for some reason kids love them. Well anyways, one of the kids kept trying to wipe her hands on her shirt, so I told her "Stop wiping your hands on your shirt!!!" She then tried wiping them on her pants. "Stop wiping them on your pants!!!" She then leaned down and wiped them on her socks! :) I couldn't help but laugh at that one.
Another one...
We got a special treat today from one of the teachers. She brought peeps in. (Also very gross, maybe even more disgusting than cheetos) Well I asked the kids if they wanted a peep and one of the kids looked at me and said... Miss Na-Na that's a marshmallow.
